We took out a three bedroom townhouse for the weekend with Walter's parents and his sister's family in Terrigal. We didn't planned it that way, but it co-incided with the Terrigal Food and Wine show.
Wasn't quite sure what to expect, but as we found out, it was more about the wine, with some dozen or so exhibitors and the food was mainly the type that you get at most cultural fairs including gozlem, grilled corn, etc.
One unique addition is potato on a stick above. Daniel's version has chilli and salt. I'm sure this will be the latest thing that will sweep the festivals.
Another unique offering was strawberry rolled in chocolate, which was very nice. You can also get the strawberry and banana version.
We couldn't resist the lemon poffertjes/proffertjes...
Or the chorizo roll...
The Terrigal Food and Wine Show was just down the road from where we were staying.
