Sofra Restaurant, Turkish, Auburn

Sofra is our favourite Turkish restaurant in Auburn for so many reasons; the food is cooked when you order so it's fresh and relatively fast, the lads behind the counter might look intimidating but they're actually really friendly and helpful and it's on the corner with outside seating so you can watch multicultural Auburn walk and loudly drive by.

I'm in a hungry mood tonight and went for the mixed plate shish kebab, consisting of chicken and two types of lamb, minced and cubed.  It comes with fresh tomato salad, onions and wonderful flat bread that's been ever so lightly toasted.

  1. I really love Sofra - it was my first (and so far only) eating experience in Auburn just a few months ago. We'll be back soon though!

  2. Love Sofra - reminds me that it's been too long between drinks/mighty kebabs. That lamb looks so droolworthy!
