Rasa Sayang Restaurant, Canberra

By Noodlies Sydney food blog guest reviewer, KLui.

This Malaysian Chinese restaurant reminded me of Chinese restaurants in Sydney 15 years ago... more specifically its décor, predominantly red and gold.

This type of china bowl is rarely seen in Sydney restaurants now, but every Chinese family had some in their kitchen at some point in time.

Malaysian fried chicken – the skin was very crispy and the meat was very tender, though the dish was let down with the Aussie-Chinese sweet chilli sauce.

The curry and roti were not great on their own, but together worked so much better.
