We're spoilt for choice when it comes to Thai-Lao in the local Fairfield & Cabramatta area and we eat Thai-Lao at least once a week.


Spicy Aroma is in Canley Heights, the late night eating district of the area - Canley Heights is a god send for this Sydney food blog.

Penang chicken curry

For dinner, we had several new dishes, heck, why not?! The Penang chicken curry was mild, creamy and very more-ish.

Pad Kana Moo Grob: stir fried bbq pork

Pad kana moo grob was sensational, chinese broccoli works perfectly with the oyster sauce, juicy, sweet and fragrant.  The bbq pork was a little tough, but still crispy and full of flavour.

Pad thai

Pad thai was generous, pic above was the pad thai portion I scooped on my plate, the dish was over-flowing and with plenty of crushed peanuts and dried chilli to boot. I find it very hard to rate pad thai, I've had so many and we get such good quality in the local area.  This one is up there.
