Gia Hoi Vietnamese, Canley Heights

Bun bo hue

Bún bò Huế, is literally translated as beef noodles from the central region of Vietnam.  As you can see it's much stronger, predominant flavours are chilli, prawn paste and lemon grass.

There are several types of meat include pork; quite a fatty cut, beef and even a pig trotter or two.


But it's the wonderful array of salad, mint and sprouts that you put into the soup which provides great contrast... and cuts some of the fat.

Gia Hoi has been around for years, and so has the 20% off special which doesn't seem to end.  It's always busy and I think desservedly so.
