Pho 76, Stocklands, Wetherill Park
There are Viet restaurants firmly in the Cabramatta/Canley Vale/Canley Heights/Bankstown/Marrickville Vietnamese heartland, then there are those that have taken the mainstream plunge, loud and proudly Vietnamese in the City, inner city, east and north shore.
Then there's Pho 76, that's somewhere in between, Wetherill Park is well within Viet heartland but also exposes them to a more diverse customer base. And they're doing amazingly well. It's a decent sized eatery that is generally bustling.

Passionflower Ice Cream, Chinatown, Sydney

After an average lunch, we decided to treat ourselves to an old favourite, Passionflower ice cream in the Capitol building. I had the fruittilicious, which was a lot of orange coloured fruit, mango ice cream, mandarin with passionfruit. Well it sounds healthy anyway.
Walter had his usual fav, double ice cream waffles that comes with a delicious syrup, you can see him pouring it lovingly over his waffles in the video above.
We're always looking for a good ice cream or desserts place in the city, so if you know of any, let me know!

This Thai-Laos restaurant oozes inner city sensibility in the heart of Sydney's south west. Stunning decor, attentive service, a MaƮtre d', unheard of luxuries in Canley Heights. And the locals are lapping it up.
